A tour of the service editor

Every setting a service has, grouped into four sections.

Open any service and you get a tabbed editor. Tabs load their data only when you open them, and the count next to a tab tells you how much is already set up there.

Basics

• Details. Name, description, category, price, duration, and whether the service is active.
• [Variations](/help/variations). Versions of the same service at their own price and length.
• Media. Photos shown on your booking page.

Booking

• Policies. Pricing model, delivery type, confirmation, waitlist, cancellation rules, deposits and group settings.
• Availability. Which schedule the service uses, and its booking window.
• [Questions](/help/booking-questions). What you ask a customer at checkout.
• Flow. An ordered itinerary for the service, useful for tours and multi part appointments.

Reach

• [Coverage areas](/help/coverage-areas). Where you are willing to travel.
• [Dynamic pricing](/help/dynamic-pricing). Rules that raise or lower the price by date and time.
• [Limit & buffer](/help/booking-window-buffers-and-limits). Padding and volume caps.

Capacity

• Team. Who can take this booking. It reads *Any* when nobody is assigned, which means every active team member can.
• [Resources](/help/resources-and-team). Rooms, chairs, equipment or vehicles the service needs.
