Booking statuses

Every booking carries one status, and it drives what happens next.

A booking moves through a small set of statuses. You can change the status yourself from the booking detail screen.

Status	What it means
Pending	Made, but not confirmed yet. Services set to require confirmation start here.
Confirmed	Locked in and on the calendar.
In progress	The appointment is currently under way.
Completed	Finished and ready to invoice.
Cancelled	Called off by either side. Where your policy has one, the late cancellation fee is worked out here.
No-show	The customer did not arrive.

Whether a new booking arrives as pending or confirmed is set per service, on the Policies tab of the service editor.
