Getting paid online

Connect a provider to take money at the moment of booking.

Open Integrations > Payment Apps and connect a provider. Until you do, you can still record cash, card and transfer payments by hand, but customers cannot pay online.

Providers

• Yoco. You connect your own Yoco account and Yoco settles you directly. There is no Oteev platform fee, and Yoco's own rates apply.
• Paystack. Cards, bank transfers and mobile money across Africa. A 4% platform fee is deducted before funds reach your bank account.
• Stripe and PayPal. These can be connected, but checkout through them is not available yet.

How an online payment settles

When a customer chooses to pay online, the booking is marked as awaiting payment straight away. It only becomes a completed payment once the provider confirms it. That confirmation is written once and once only, so a webhook that arrives twice never charges or credits twice.
