Booking window, buffers and limits

Three separate controls that decide which slots a customer is actually offered.

All three live in the service editor and stack on top of your schedule.

Booking window

On the Availability tab, earliest booking and latest booking set how much notice you need and how far ahead people can book. Use the earliest setting to stop somebody booking you in twenty minutes.

Buffers

On the Limit & buffer tab, a buffer before the event and a buffer after it keep time free around the appointment for travel, setup or notes. Buffered time is not offered to anyone else.

Booking limits

On the same tab you can cap volume:

• Maximum bookings per day, per week or per month.
• Maximum concurrent bookings, for when you can handle more than one at a time but not unlimited.
• A minimum gap between bookings.

Each limit can be scoped to a date range, to particular weekdays, and to a time window, so a rule can apply to December Saturdays only.
